Please look over our rules and FAQ before posting. Cuz this is getting ridiculous./r/Games is for informative and interesting gaming content and discussions. The least they could do is drop a quick tweet saying "Hey, we are behind schedule, we are now looking toward (insert time frame) for release." We don't need a firm date but give us an idea. So, unless they are planning a surprise launch (which would be a terrible business idea) it's pretty clear that Q2 is out. Well, Q2 ends in 19 days and we still don't have a firm release date. We've been told for months now that it would be released in Q2 of 2022. I get that delays happen during the design process, and I would be skeptical of any game that didn't have at least a couple of delays (a delay signifies that the developers actually care about the quality and aren't just trying to crank out a semi-broken/poor quality game just to get paid.)īut I've found that the majority of developers at least have enough courtesy to let people know when they run into delays. Since I've seen plenty of articles about the game over the last 6 months, most of which contain interviews with at least one of the dev team, I'm assuming that will likely be the only chance anyone of us has to get answers outside of an official announcement. I'm to the point that I'm seriously considering starting a gaming blog, just so I can contact them with a "press inquiry." It's the only potential contact option that I've found but haven't tried yet. I've tried contacting the developers via all forms of social media, and was again met with the sound of crickets. I signed up for the email "newsletter" thing so I could stay updated - that was in January and I haven't received a single email. I've been trying to get ANY info on a release date or even an idea of when we might have a firm release date but haven't heard a word in return. That's one of my main concerns with this video gameĪgreed. To me Star Trek is always been hey you better come out with high quality really thought-provoking entertainment then the Star Trek community will back you up if you don't do that then we're all outĪnd a concern of mine is that in the new Star Trek video game people will be like oh well we get to set on the bridge look it's a completely different bridge that it's not the constitution class so therefore I love it as new ridge oh and a lot we can shoot our guns oh flash flashĬuz it feels like ever since 09 to me they've slowly tried to congregate the Star wars audience to coming over to Star Trek instead of appealing to the Star Trek audience that was already there So Star wars they could literally take wet paint drying on a wall put the Star wars logo on it and people will go watch that people will play that game ![]() I'm really concerned that the Star Trek community is solely becoming the Star of wars community Think for yourself: Topics that boil down to "Should I watch.", "Will I like.", "Change my view on.", "Does anyone else.", or "Tell me what to think" are not contributing anything to the community.Ĭlick here for the full & detailed guidelines Upcoming Episodes: Date Meta: Send a modmail instead of making public posts or comments about: other users of this subreddit, the rules or moderators, the community at large or other subreddits, downvotes/upvotes.Ĩ.
